Chevening Halt

Chevening Halt was the first station on the line, being 1 mile.24 chains from Dunton Green. It consisted of a wooden platform and shelter, when opened on the 16th April 1906. It was never staffed and tickets were issued on the trains.

A fire destroyed the waiting shelter in 1937 and this was replaced by a standard Southern Railway shelter until closure in 1961
